Antalya Bilim University successfully concluded its 2025–2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremonies, held between 22 June and 3 July 2026. Over the course of six days, a total of 1,650 students, including 110 master’s graduates, celebrated the successful completion of their academic journey.
Graduates from the University’s faculties, schools, vocational schools, and graduate programs received their diplomas in the presence of academic staff, families, and friends, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. The ceremonies were filled with pride, joyful cap-tossing moments, and unforgettable celebrations shared with loved ones.
Governor ŞAHİN Attended the Faculty of Dentistry Graduation Ceremony
One of the most significant events of the graduation ceremonies was the Faculty of Dentistry Graduation Ceremony, attended by the Governor of Antalya, Hulusi ŞAHİN. The ceremony was also attended by Provincial Police Chief Dr. Sabit Akın ZAİMOĞLU, Rector Prof. Dr. Semih EKERCİN, the vice rectors, the secretary general, academic staff, students, and their families.
In his speech, Governor Hulusi ŞAHİN congratulated the graduating students and their families and wished the newly graduated dentists every success in their professional careers. He also paid tribute to the late Dr. Bülent SÜZER, who played a vital role in the establishment of the Faculty of Dentistry, stating:
“People live on through the works they leave behind. Dr. Bülent SÜZER’s greatest legacy is this Faculty of Dentistry and every dentist who graduates from it.”
Governor ŞAHİN emphasized that although Dr. Bülent SÜZER’s life was relatively short, he laid the foundations of a well-established and highly successful Faculty of Dentistry. He noted that Dr. SÜZER had the privilege of witnessing the graduation of the faculty’s first students and remembered him with gratitude and respect.
Addressing the graduates, Governor ŞAHİN encouraged them never to compromise on honesty, justice, professional ethics, their love for their profession, or their commitment to serving their country. He expressed his confidence that they would honor the sacrifices made by their families and the nation through dedicated service.
Rector Prof. Dr. Semih EKERCİN Shared a Message for the Future
In his address, Rector Prof. Dr. Semih EKERCİN also commemorated the late Dr. Bülent SÜZER with gratitude and respect. He stated that the graduation of the first cohort of the Faculty of Dentistry represented a significant milestone for the University and highlighted that this achievement was the result of vision, dedication, and tremendous effort.
Addressing the graduates, Rector EKERCİN emphasized that they should crown the education they had received by serving humanity through their profession. He wished them successful careers as ethical, competent, productive individuals who contribute value to their country.
Valedictorians Left Their Mark on the Graduation Registry
Students who graduated with top honors were also recognized during the ceremonies.
The University’s top undergraduate graduate, YELYZAVETA KARTAVTSEVA from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, received an achievement plaque. She also placed the plaque bearing her name on the University’s Graduation Registry, leaving a permanent mark on the University’s history. In her speech, she shared the joy of graduation with her professors, family, and friends.
The University’s top associate degree graduate, Yasemin KAHRAMAN from the Vocational School of Health Services, was likewise honored with an achievement plaque. By placing her name on the Graduation Registry, she proudly represented both her family and Antalya Bilim University through her outstanding academic achievement.
International Cooperative Education Program Certificates Presented
As part of the graduation ceremonies, certificates were also presented to students who successfully completed the International Cooperative Education Program. Receiving these certificates marked not only the completion of their studies but also a strong beginning to their professional careers.
One of Antalya Bilim University’s most important career-oriented educational models, the International Cooperative Education Program enables students to gain professional experience at national and international organizations during their senior year. Through this program, students have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real working environments while establishing valuable professional connections before graduation.
Students Gained Experience at National and International Organizations
This year, students completed their cooperative education placements at numerous national and international organizations, including Kepez State Hospital, Antalya City Hospital, TURKCELL, Rixos Tersane İstanbul, TUSAŞ Antalya, SunExpress, Akra Hotels, Kemer State Hospital, Megasaray Westbeach Antalya, The Land of Legends, KONE Elevator Industry and Trade Inc., JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, and many others.
Students from the departments of Nutrition and Dietetics, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Psychology, and Tourism Management received their certificates, demonstrating their readiness to enter professional life.
The certification of students who completed the International Cooperative Education Program stands as one of the strongest examples of Antalya Bilim University’s vision of “starting a career before graduation.” Thanks to the professional experience, industry connections, and practical training they gained throughout the program, graduates are well prepared to begin their careers with greater confidence and competence.

Throughout the six-day graduation celebrations, academic staff proudly witnessed the rewards of their students’ dedication and perseverance throughout their educational journey. Families experienced unforgettable moments as they watched their children receive their diplomas and toss their graduation caps into the air. Alongside emotional moments, the ceremonies were filled with applause, excitement, and memories that will be cherished for years to come.
