Dr. B. Toygar Halistoprak

The research project of Dr. B. Toygar Halistoprak has been awarded a research grant by Fulbright Postdoctoral Researcher Program.

The research project of Dr. B. Toygar Halistoprak, from the Department of Political Science and International Relations, titled “Emerging Powers and Peace Interventions: A Challenge to Liberal Peacebuilding?” has been awarded a research grant by Fulbright Postdoctoral Researcher Program. Dr. Halistoprak has started to his research stay in Washington DC at the George Washington University as of 18th October 2021. In this research project that will be carried in the Institute for Security and Conflict Studies (ISCS) under the Elliott School of International Affairs, Dr. Halistoprak will examine the implications of emerging powers’ increasing interest in peacekeeping and peacebuilding interventions on the international politics and liberal peace.
