Sibel Çaynak graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Nursing in 2007. She completed her master's degree at Istanbul University, Institute of Health Sciences, Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing Program with her thesis titled “Psychological Symptoms and Suicide Probability of a Group of Prisoners and Convicts” in 2014. She completed her doctoral degree at Akdeniz University, Institute of Health Sciences, Psychiatric Nursing Doctorate Program with her thesis titled “The Effect of Tidal Model-Based Psychiatric Nursing Approach on the Meaning of Life and Coping Level of Physically Disabled Adult Individuals: An Action Research” in 2021. Between 2007-2017, she worked as a clinical nurse, education nurse, operating room nurse, Nursing Services Manager and Nursing Services Manager in various public and private institutions in different cities, and between 2018-2021, she worked as a Research Assistant at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Nursing, Department of Psychiatric Nursing. She has participated in many courses and certificate programs in different fields such as psychiatry, nursing, education and management. She has scientific publications, presentations at national/international scientific meetings and book chapter authorship in the mentioned fields. She currently works as an Assistant Professor at Antalya Bilim University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing.
