Ali Danandeh Mehr holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (Turkey). He is a professor at the Civil Engineering Department of Antalya Bilim University, Turkey. He has also worked as an adjunct researcher at the Excellent Center for Hydroinformatics (University of Tabriz, Iran), MEU Research Center (Middle East University, Jordan), and as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Water, Energy and Environmental Engineering Research Unit (University of Oulu, Finland). Prof. Dr. Danandeh Mehr has published over 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals, six books, and seven chapters. Since 2019, he has been listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists in the field of environmental engineering released by Stanford University/SCOPUS. He was also among the Top 1% of the World's Highly Ranked Scholars (2022) in the specific fields of genetic programming, forecasting, and programming models released by ScholarGPS™. He is the associate editor for the Discover Water (Springer) and J. Civil. Env. Eng. (Tabriz Univ.) and collaborates as a guest editor/reviewer for different international scholarly journals. His current research focuses on stochastic hydrology, hydroinformatics, extreme hydrologic events, and climate change impacts on water resources.
