Seda Demirel Topel has received her B.S degree in Chemistry (2006, Akdeniz University), her M.S degree in Organic Chemistry (2009, Akdeniz University) and her PhD degree in Organic Chemistry (2013, Akdeniz University). During her PhD, she joined the Natural Products group Lund University (2009, Lund, Sweden) and then National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM), Bilkent University in the field of organic-hybrid nanoparticles for photodynamic therapy (2010-2013). Then she continued her studies as Post-Doc fellows at the Department of Molecular Sciences, SLU, Sweden in 2013-2015. Currently, she is working as an Assist. Prof. at the Department of Electrical&Electronics Engineering at Antalya Bilim University, since 2018. She has SCI-indexed 18 published paper with 280 citation. Her research interests include the synthesis of bionanomaterials, organic-inorganic hybrid nanostructures, design of nanocarriers and theranostic platforms and applications of nanotechnology to environment (water treatment, sequestration of lanthanide elements from ores).
