Dr. Sezgi Koçak Soylu completed her bachelor’s degree in 2009 at Akdeniz University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. She received her master’s degree in 2012 and her PhD in 2018 from the Institute of Science, Department of Mechanical Engineering at the same university. Since 2019, she has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Antalya Bilim University. Between 2022 and 2024, she conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA).
Her research focuses on the heat transfer applications of nanofluids, the thermophysical properties of nanoparticles and nanofluids, fouling in heat exchangers, heat pumps, solar energy, thermal comfort, and energy efficiency. She has published articles in SCI-indexed journals and national/international conference proceedings. Her work has received over 260 citations.
