Dr. Buket Şenoğlu completed her undergraduate studies in 2011 at Ankara University, Department of Landscape Architecture. After working as a landscape architect on various projects in the private sector, she obtained her master’s degree in 2015 from Akdeniz University with her thesis titled "Analysis of Garden Spaces in Seljuk Structures in Antalya."

In the same year, she commenced her doctoral studies at Chiba University in Japan with the support of the Japanese Government Scholarship (MEXT). She successfully completed her Ph.D. in 2019 with her dissertation titled "Visual Effect of High-rise Buildings on Daimyo Gardens in Tokyo: The Case Study of Hama-rikyu Gardens."

Since 2020, Dr. Şenoğlu has been teaching at Antalya Bilim University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. She was appointed as an Assistant Professor in April 2021, became the Vice Chair of the department in December 2021, and assumed the role of Department Chair in July 2024.

Throughout her academic and professional career, she has participated in various national and international projects, particularly in the fields of cultural heritage conservation, sustainable landscapes and tourism, urban and rural landscape planning/design, and environmental awareness. Her research interests focus on historical and cultural landscapes, urban identity, and the interrelations of environmental psychology, behavior, and aesthetics.
