Shirin Izadpanah has finished her Interior Architecture Bachelor degree in 2006 and worked as an interior architect in an architectural firm for over 3 years. She has applied for graduate studies in 2009 and completed her Masters of architecture in 2011 and her Ph.D. in Architecture Program in 2016. She completed her Ph.D., Ms. of Science and undergraduate studies at Eastern Mediterranean University. In 2016 she started her career as Asst. Prof. in AHEP University, Department of Architecture. She was also assigned as the head of the department from 2016-2017. In September 2017 she moved to Antalya and started her career as an Asst. Professor in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Bilim University. She has been also assigned as the head of the department ever since. Her research interests lie in the area of children spaces, ranging from educational spaces to play areas. She has also collaborated with researchers in several other disciplines such as role of technology in shaping memory of architectural space or topics in profession and education of interior architecture. She is currently a Faculty coordinator for ISO 9001.
