CULTURAL FOUNDATIONS OF FOREIGN POLICY
Post Title: Project assistant in MA student level.
Post Status: 16 months-Full Time
Starting Date: 15.02.2023
Principal Investigators: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cerem I. Cenker-Ozek, Assist. Prof. Dr. B. Toygar Halistoprak
Location: Preferably residence in Antalya-Turkey (Remote can be acceptable.)
Stipend: Payment at maximum TÜBİTAK 1001 Program rate for MA-level students

Summary Description:
We have two MA level research assistant positions for our TÜBİTAK funded project, titled Cultural Foundations of Foreign Policy. The project aims to explore the nexus and interactions between the domestic political culture and foreign policy decision-making.
The post-holders will take active part in coding of the speeches and political party documents and building a dataset based on the content analysis
What we seek for:
Enthusiasm for doing research in areas of foreign policy, role conceptions and/or political culture.
Project commitment for 16 months, starting from 15.02.2023
Self-disciplined and detail-oriented working habits.
Advanced skills in English.
Ability to read documents at least in of the following languages: German, Russian (Not a must, but a plus)
Willingness to advance in methodological skills such as content analysis, coding, statistical analysis.
Organizational skills for the project’s paper-work, organizing dissemination activities and workshops.
