Biography
Dr. Murat Serhatlıoğlu earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Firat University, followed by a master’s degree in Electrical and ComputerEngineering from Melikşah University. He completed his PhDin Materials Science and Nanotechnology at Bilkent University. His master’s and doctoral studies were conductedat the National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM), Bilkent University (2012-2020). Between 2020 and 2024, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Health Technology at the Technical University of Denmark. During this time, he worked on two Novo Nordisk-fundedprojects and served as a guest lecturer for the Optical Microscopy course.
Throughout his research career, Serhatlıoğlu has focused on advanced topics such as microfluidic devices, single-cellanalysis, flow cytometry, optical and laser-based sensingtechnologies, and AI-driven diagnostic tools. He has published20 peer-reviewed articles, received over 400 citations, andcontributed to several patent applications. His work stands outfor fostering interdisciplinary collaborations and developinginnovative biomedical devices.
Currently, Dr. Serhatlıoğlu is a faculty member at Antalya Bilim University’s Department of Electrical and ElectronicsEngineering, where he continues his research on biosensing, early diagnostic technologies, and AI-powered analysismethods.
