“Measurement Techniques in Hydrology” Seminar Held at Antalya Bilim University

The Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Antalya Bilim University organized a seminar titled “Measurement Techniques in Hydrology” on October 26, 2026, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Ali Danandeh Mehr. The seminar aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and experience in hydrological measurement methods and their practical applications, while providing an opportunity to benefit from academic and professional expertise in the field.

The seminar featured two distinguished speakers: Ms. Sultan ÇİÇEKGİL, specialist engineer at the 4th Regional Directorate of Meteorology, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rıfat TÜR, a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, at Akdeniz University.

During the seminar, the speakers shared their academic and professional knowledge and experience regarding measurement techniques used in hydrology and their practical applications. By bringing together academic perspectives and professional expertise, the event aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of the field and help them connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
