Department Of Architecture Yapex Events

Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Department of Architecture participated in 26th Yapex International Building Materials, Construction Technology, Building Renovation and Restoration Exhibition with both visitors and workshops.

In the first day of the four-day exhibition, 4th Grade students visited the fair with Asst. Prof. Dr. A. Esin Kuleli within the scope of ARC 461 Conservation and Restoration Project course. Students got information about preservation of cultural heritage from the leading companies of the sector and the local authorities who have participated in the fair and they visited the exhibition in which the award-winning works of the Union of Historical Towns.

In the worhskop on “Transformation” which was in cooperation with the Antalya Chamber of Architects, students were asked to design a cover on the Patara Ancient City Assembly Building. The students’ works evaluated by the jury took part in Akseki Municipality Director of Plan and Project Arch. Hakime Yılmaz, Antalya Chamber of Architects Secretary Member Arch. Funda Alyanak Kaya, Asst. Prof. Dr. Esin Kuleli and the Head of Department of Architecture Hülya Aybek.
