Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Department of Architecture 3rd Grade students, instructors of the course Asst. Prof. Dr. Hülya Aybek, Asst. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Esengil, Lecturers Onu Eroğuz, Yalçın Korkmaz, Ekrem Bahadır Çalışkan and Research Assistants Esin Bölükbaş Dayı, Alper Gülle and Selin Akdeğirmen Ercan made a technical visit accompanied by Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Koçak to Antalya Museum which is determined as project area within the scope of ARC 302 Architectural Design IV course.
It is expected from the students to improve additional building recommendations to the current meseum building which was designed by Doğan Tekeli, Sami Sisa and Metin Hepgüler in 1964 as a winner project of Antalya Regional Archaeology Museum and to question today’s function the museums.
During the field trip, students got the informations about the museum and the needs from the Director of Museum and Vice Director of Museum Ahmet Çelik. After that they continued their analysis in the project area.
