Antalya Bilim University, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design has hosted 12th Interior Architecture Department Heads Meeting in Cooperation with Akdeniz University, Department of Interior Architecture. Meeting was held on 4th-5th of October in campus of Akdeniz University with the participation of chairs from more than 30th departments, presidents of Turkey’s chamber of interior architecture and Antalya branch chamber of interior architecture.

On the First day of the meeting Interior Architecture Education Programs Accreditation Committees has presented the content of accreditation and discussed the content in a panel discussion. Also in an organization by Kütahya Seramik, participants have also visited NG Kütahya Seramik Showroom. On the second day of the meeting, Asst. Prof. Dr. Shirin IZADPANAH has presented a research including the overall condition of interior architecture summer trainings in Turkey, the similarities and differences of training requirements among different universities and the strength and weaknesses of trainings according to student and employers. At the end of the meeting possible solution and proposals were discussed and meeting was ended by classification of the proposals.
