18 September 2026

The 7th edition of the International Political Science Association (IPSA)–Antalya Bilim University (ABU) Summer School for Social Science Research Methods was held online from 24 August to 4 September 2026. The Summer School brought together 14 students from around the world, representing Australia, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Norway, Poland, Portugal, South Korea, Trinidad and Tobago, and Türkiye.

The local organizing team offered two intensive one-week courses. During the first week, participants took part in Case Study and Process Tracing, and the second week they took part in From Word Counts to LLMs: An Introduction to Computational Text Analysis.

Each course began with a welcome session, bringing together students and representatives from IPSA and ABU. These sessions provided an opportunity for participants to meet, introduce themselves, discuss their research interests, and share their expectations for the week ahead.

The Summer School provided an engaging international learning environment where participants could develop their methodological skills while exchanging ideas and experiences with peers and instructors.
