Visit by the RISE Turkey Project Team to the Western Mediterranean Branch of the Turkish Foresters’ Association

Assist. Prof. Dr. Evla Mutlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oğuz Doğan, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hülya Aybek, and Lecturer Funda Alyanak Kaya from the Turkish team working under the RISE Resilient Communities project visited the Western Mediterranean Branch of the Forestry Association of Turkey, established in 1924. During the visit, the issue of forest fires in the context of disaster-resilient communities was discussed, information regarding the association's ongoing activities was gathered, and details about the RISE project were presented.
