Mehmet YAZICI

Prof. Dr. Mehmet YAZICI was born in Eskişehir in 1973, where he completed his primary, secondary, and high school education. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics at Istanbul University in 1995, his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Doğuş University in 2000, and his Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from the Institute of Social Sciences at Kadir Has University in 2007.

Between 1996 and 2010, he worked at various commercial banks, holding positions including Credit Allocation Specialist, Branch Manager, and Head of Credit Allocation and Credit Policies.

Since 2010, Prof. Dr. Yazıcı has held numerous academic and administrative positions at various universities, including Member of the University Executive Board and Faculty Board, Rector of Antalya Belek University, Vice-Rector, Dean, Vice-Dean, Director of a Vocational School, Director of Research and Application Centers, and Head of Department. He currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Tourism at Antalya Bilim University and Director of the Tourism Technologies Incubation Center.

Prof. Dr. Yazıcı is the author of nine books and seven book chapters in the fields of banking, finance, and risk management, and has published numerous academic articles. He also holds a Credit Rating License issued by the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB).

Prof. Dr. Mehmet YAZICI serves as a member of the Executive Advisory Board of the Association of Tourism Academics (TURAK) and as an Academic Member of the Professional Hotel Managers Association (POYD). He is also a member of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) Cultural Heritage and COP31 Executive Committees, the Balkan Immigrants Association, the Association for Ethics in Academia, the International Education Quality Systems Association, the Cittaslow Türkiye Academic Advisory Board, the Turkish Foundation of Finance Executives, the Finance Professionals Association, and IFMC.
