Horizontal Transfer from Higher Education Institutions Abroad

Application Principles
 

Applications for horizontal transfer from higher education institutions abroad to domestic institutions are evaluated in accordance with Article 14 of the Regulation on Transfer between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions.

Required Documents for Application
 

1.  Application form

2.  3 Photographs

3. Copy of high school diploma (must be certified as ORIGINAL SEEN by the Student Affairs Office) or a recent graduation certificate (must be certified as VERIFIED by the Student Affairs Office)

4. Current student certificate for the enrolled program, apostilled and translated into Turkish by a sworn translator

5. Current transcript and course contents for the enrolled program, apostilled and translated into Turkish by a sworn translator

6. Document certifying that the higher education institution where the student studied abroad and the program in which the education was conducted are recognized by the Council of Higher Education as authorized to award associate or undergraduate degrees.

7. Original passport used during the period of education abroad and a Turkish translation of the passport by a sworn translator

8. Entry-exit document covering the period of education abroad

9. ÖSYM Placement Result Document

10. ÖSYM examination result document (result document showing Central Placement Scores)

11. Student's examination placement result document issued by ÖSYM

12. Document regarding whether the student has received a disciplinary penalty

13. Front and back photocopy of identity card

14. Accepted English Proficiency Examination Result (YDS/KPDS/ÜDS/YÖKDİL/PTE ACADEMIC/TOEFL IBT) (for programs where the language of instruction is English)

Applications, with all documents completed, shall be submitted to Antalya Bilim University Student Affairs Directorate between 20.07.2026 / 14.08.2026. Applications with incomplete documents or submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
Applications may also be sent by mail to the address specified below. For applications submitted by mail, notification will be sent to the e-mail address specified on the application form once the documents have been received.

Announcement of Results and Adaptation Program
 

• The evaluation results of candidates applying for horizontal transfer to each degree program will be announced on 24.08.2026 on the Antalya Bilim University Student Affairs Directorate website.
• If there are a sufficient number of candidates meeting the success requirements, reserve candidates equal to the quota will be announced. If principal candidates do not complete registration within the specified period, reserves will be called in order.
• The relevant commissions determine which semester or class the student will be placed in, taking into account the courses the student has taken in previous terms and the courses of the program to which the student has transferred horizontally; they also determine an adaptation program consisting of additional courses the student must take, if any, and the courses from which the student should be exempted. Grades previously received for these courses are recorded on the transcript.
