Established in 2017, The Research and Application Center for Comparative Legal Studies seeks to create opportunities and research environment for students, academicians and researchers for deeper knowledge of, engagement with and excitement about comparative legal studies. The Center is comprised of faculty, students, alumni and its partners who contribute to achieve its goals. The center undertakes research, conducts studies, organizes conferences, and promotes scholarship. It covers a broad range of areas ranging from public law to private law. The Centre also cooperates with various universities, distinguished scholars and research institutions in Turkey and around the world. It has recognized experts in many areas of law and routinely produce cutting-edge scholarship on topics of international importance. It bridges the gap between resources available at academic institutions and needs in the field. It works within the major legal systems of the world to build strategies that span a broad legal spectrum as well as contributing the legal world in light of interdisciplinary or even supra-disciplinary approaches.
