Disabled Student Unit

The Office for Students with Disabilities at Antalya Science University operates under the Rector’s Office to identify the academic, administrative, physical, psychological, housing, and social needs of students with disabilities pursuing higher education at our university; to plan, implement, and develop necessary initiatives in these areas; to evaluate the results of these initiatives; and to enhance their social participation.

The Office for Students with Disabilities at Antalya Science University takes a solution-oriented approach to the issues identified through interviews and assessment results with students who are disadvantaged or have special needs and who have applied to the office. It holds meetings with units such as the Office of Student Affairs, the Health Office, the Center for Psychological Counseling and Guidance Research and Application, the Directorate of Sports, Culture, and Arts, Department Advisors, and Department Chairs.

Any student enrolled in higher education at Antalya Science University who has declared a disability may apply to the Office for Students with Disabilities during the academic term. The Office for Students with Disabilities assists students with disabilities by discussing matters requiring reasonable accommodations in academic areas—such as classes, exams, and assignments—and helps determine when and how these issues can be resolved, as well as whom to contact.
