Dicle Korkmaz is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Politics and International Relations, Antalya Bilim University, Turkey. She received her master degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science in European Studies and Ankara University in EC-International Relations, and her PhD degree from the University of Tampere in the field of International Relations. She worked in projects funded by the Academy of Finland, EU- Horizon 2020 and Stiftung Mercator at the University of Tampere and the Middle East Technical University. She was a visiting scholar at The George Washington University, Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies during her PhD, and a visiting research fellow at The Oxford Institute for Energy Studies after the PhD. Before the academic life, she worked as an expert at the Turkish National Agency and a research expert at the Turkish Competition Authority. Her research interests include energy security, natural gas, Turkey-EU relations, EU integration, English School and narrative analysis.
