Dr. Dicle Korkmaz is an Assistant Professor at Antalya Bilim University Department of Politics and International Relations. After receiving her master degrees at the London School of Economics and Political Science in European Studies and Ankara University in EC-International Relations, she got her PhD from the University of Tampere in the field of International Relations. She worked in projects funded by the Academy of Finland, EU- Horizon 2020 and Stiftung Mercator at the University of Tampere and the Middle East Technical University. During her PhD, she was a visiting scholar at The George Washington University, The Elliott School of International Relations, Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies. Before the academic life, she worked as an expert at the Turkish National Agency and a research expert at the Turkish Competition Authority. Currently, she has been doing her post-doc research funded by TUBITAK at The Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. Her research interests include energy security, natural gas, Turkey-EU relations, EU integration, English School and narrative analysis.
