Dr. Merve Gölcük completed her undergraduate education in the Department of Psychology at Hacettepe University in 2010. She completed her master's degree in 2014 and her doctorate in 2020 in the field of Developmental Psychology at the Middle East Technical University. Since 2021, she has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology at Antalya Bilim University. Between 2022 and 2023, she served as the Vice Chair of the Psychology Department. Since 2023, she has also been continuing her role as the Chair of the Psychology Department. Dr. Gölcük's research interests include parenting, parental emotion socialization behaviors, temperament in children and adults, emotion regulation in children, and theory of mind development. During her graduate studies, she volunteered in various projects such as TUBITAK 1001 and 1003.
