Süleyman CENGİZCİ

Suleyman was born in Antalya, Turkey, in 1989, graduated from Antalya Metin–Nuran Cakallikli Anatolian High School, received his bachelor's degree in 2012 from the Department of Mathematics at Nigde Omer Halisdemir University, his M.Sc. from Nevsehir Haci Bektas Veli University in Applied Mathematics in 2014 with the courses from the Department of Engineering Sciences at the Middle East Technical University. In 2014, he was accepted to the doctoral program in Scientific Computing at the Institute of Applied Mathematics at the Middle East Technical University. In the same year, he received the pedagogical formation certificate for teaching high school mathematics from Akdeniz University. He received his Ph.D. with the thesis entitled “Stabilized Finite Element Simulations of Multispecies Hypersonic Flows in Thermochemical Nonequilibrium" in 2022. Between March–September 2022, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Rice University.

Between 2014 and 2017, Suleyman worked as a research assistant in the Department of Economics at Antalya Bilim University. He has been serving as a Lecturer in the departments of Computer Programming and Business Administration since early 2017.
