Hamid FARROKH GHATTE holds a Ph.D. degree in Structural and Earthquake Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITU). Currently, he is an assistant professor at Civil Engineering Department of Antalya Bilim University (ABU), Turkey. Prior to joining ABU, he was an assistant professor at Civil Engineering Department of Technical and Vocational University (TVU), Iran. He worked as a chair of Civil Engineering Department at Technical and Vocational University (TVU). Dr. F GHATTE has also worked as a research assistant at Civil Engineering Department of Ljubljana University, Ljubljana, Slovenia. He has published several refereed publications and collaborated as a subject reviewer for different international scholarly journals. His current research focuses on the seismic performance and retrofitting of reinforced concrete structures, finite element analysis, rocking wall and self-compacting concrete members to solve the various issues during the natural disasters like earthquake.
