Aslıhan Dursun Cengizci received her bachelor’s degree (2008) in Hospitality Management and her master’s degree (2015) in Tourism and Hotel Management from Akdeniz University. She studied as an exchange student during the 2006 / 2007 academic year at Université de Perpignan Via Domitia in the “Management du Tourisme et de l’Hôtellerie” program. She completed her internships in various hotel departments such as housekeeping, front office, entertainment, and sales & marketing. After graduation, she worked as a sales and marketing assistant, tourism coordinator assistant, flight attendant, and quality specialist. She involved in organizational development and CRM projects of a hotel chain and worked as a Quality Manager and CRM Manager.
She has several international and national conference papers and refereed articles about marketing, tourist motivation, and data mining (RFM analysis) at tourism journals. She received her Ph.D. degree in Tourism Management from Akdeniz University in 2020 with her thesis titled "Customer Churn Prediction in Hotels".
Her current research topics are predictive analytics, opinion mining, and marketing.
