Excursion to Yörükoğlu Süt ve Süt Ürünleri San. Tic. A.Ş
As part of the Hygiene and Sanitation course, on May 6th, 2019, students from our Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department accompanied by their lecturer Dr. Çağla McKenzie visited Yörükoğlu Dairy factory in Antalya Organized Industrial Zone, Döşemealtı. Students were welcomed by the research and development manager Mr. Alper Daþkaya and the quality control officer Ms. Ayşe Yıldırım who delivered a brief presentation about Yörükoğlu's history, the manufacturing processes and the products. A factory tour was offered to our students, which was led by Mr. Alper Daşkaya and Mr. Sefa Sürmelioğlu. During the factory tour students had an opportunity to see closely the entire process of yogurt and cheese making as well as milk pasteurization and sterilization (UHT).
