Electrical-Electronics Engineering is a branch of engineering which has the potential to provide vocational training and active participation in applied and theoretical research. The objective of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is to attain a competitive position both nationally and internationally in the fields of science and technological production, research, development and applications, as well as in education and instruction in electrical and electronics engineering.Students in this department must be competent in mathematics, physics, chemistry, creativity, analytical thinking and problem solving. The program offers courses on circuits, electronics, electromagnetics, computer systems, control systems, power systems and telecommunication systems. Graduates from the program can find employment in a wide spectrum of fields, such as optical systems, radars and antennas, signal processing, smart systems, telecommunication, medical electronics and imaging systems, automatic control systems, computer network security and electricity generation-conduction-distribution systems.
