8th Bi-Annual Congress on International Relations Teaching and Education in Turkey hosted by Antalya Bilim University held in TUI Magic Life Jacaranda Side Hotel in 3-6 May 2018. ‘Congresses on International Relations Teaching and Education’ have been organized bi-annually by the International Relations Council of Turkey and accepted as the most prestigious event in the country. The Congress hosted by Antalya Bilim University this year. Prof. Dr. Tarık Oğuzlu and Assist. Prof. Dr. Toygar Halistoprak from the Political Science and International Relations Department of Antalya Bilim University took part in the organization committee of the congress. This year, the congress welcomed around 200 participants from more than 60 universities in Turkey and Europe. Our 6 faculty members from Political Science and International Relations Department presented their 7 different papers. In the event, more than 100 papers have been presented in 35 panels on topics varying from Turkish Foreign Policy to theoretical approaches and International Relations; from contemporary teaching techniques to environment and energy security; from regional studies to political economy. Also, 2 Research Assistants and 4 students of the department of Political Science and International Relations have actively participated in organizing the congress and gained the invaluable experience.
