New Food Product Development Processes


During the technical trip organized on November 25, 2021 within the scope of the "GAST 441_New Product Development in the Food Industry" course, the students visited BAHAR HİNDİ ENTEGRE SAN VE TIC A.Ş. Accompanied by Berkay BAHAR, Member of the Board of Directors of the company, and Selver ÇELİK, the Business Manager of the company, the students learned information about the "new/innovative product" approach in the food industry, the supply of raw materials, machinery-equipment suitable for product development processes, the potential to turn a developed prototype into a commercial product, new product marketing and target customer-oriented product development strategies. Students also had the opportunity to taste the innovative products that the company launched during the pandemic period.
