Happy to announce that our former student, Yelyzaveta Nesterova (Class of 2018), has been recently awarded the Northern Bridge Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership studentship to support her PhD studies at Newcastle University (Newcastle upon Tyne, UK).

Yelyzaveta initially developed her interest in cultural heritage and its social meaning during her BA training at ABU Tourism Management. She continued her academic training and completed her MA at Koç University (Istanbul, Türkiye) in the Archaeology and History of Art, Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies track where she strengthened her interest in communal values of heritage. Yelyzaveta continues her journey in the scope of PhD in Media, Culture and Heritage programme at the School of Arts & Cultures of Newcastle University.
