Antalya Bilim University Graduate Lorin Senem ŞAHİNOĞLU Becomes Hakkari’s First Female Pilot

Lorin Senem ŞAHİNOĞLU, a graduate of Antalya Bilim University’s Pilotage Program, has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first female pilot from Hakkari.

Fulfilling a lifelong dream, ŞAHİNOĞLU has brought great pride to her family, her hometown of Hakkari, and our university. Pursuing her goal of becoming a pilot with determination and perseverance, our young alumna has become an inspiring role model, particularly for young girls, through her achievements in the field of aviation.

Expressing her happiness with the words, “Serving my country as a pilot was my greatest dream, and thankfully, I achieved it,” ŞAHİNOĞLU stated that she hopes to inspire courage and confidence in all girls in Hakkari. Emphasizing the broader significance of her accomplishment, she added, “It makes me happy to be a role model for all girls.”
