Our student Büşra Gül İNAL, from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at our university, participated in the Climate Envoys movement organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the Republic of Türkiye Presidency for Climate Change, and UNICEF Türkiye. Büşra was one of the five student representatives from Turkey at the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) international climate summit held in Dubai from November 30 to December 12.
During the COP28 process, Büşra Gül İNAL had the opportunity to closely examine international processes related to climate change by participating as an observer in the negotiations. Additionally, as Youth Envoys they organized a panel titled "Youth Climate Envoy Platform and the Voice of the Turkish Youth for Climate Action" at the Türkiye Pavilion, addressing crucial topics such as the role and participation of Turkish youth in the fight against climate change.
Throughout this successful journey, our student undertook an important responsibility to amplify the voices of Turkish youth on the international stage. We congratulate her for these valuable contributions and wish her continued success in the future.
