DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE ARC 4653 VERNACULAR ARCHITECTURE IN ANATOLIA KALEİÇİ TECHNICAL TRIP

Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Department of Architecture 3rd and 4th Grade students made technical trip to Kaleiçi in scope of ARC 4653 Vernacular Architecture in Anatolia course, under supervision of the course lecturer Asst. Prof. Dr. A. Esin Kuleli and Res. Asst. Selin Akdeğirmen Ercan. During the trip, Asst. Prof. Dr. A. Esin Kuleli gave a lot of informations about the vernacular architecture in Anatolia, construction techniques and architectural elements. Our students, who visited the Antalya Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Property and Directorate of Surveying and Monuments, got informations from the Council Director Melike Gül. Students had the opportunity to see and experience the theoretical knowledge they learned in the lessons.
