Training activity held in Lisbon within the scope of the RE-FRESH Project, of which our University is a Strategic Partner
Between 15-19 April 2024, within the scope of the European Union Erasmus+ program, a training activity was held in Lisbon, Portugal as part of the RE-FRESH project. While MA-TERIARCH hosted the event, Asst. Prof. Melike Çetin from the Department of Economics represented Antalya Bilim University as the coordinator of the project.
During the training, studies were carried out on creating “Cool Islands” to reduce the effects of global warming in cities. These innovative solutions aim to increase the thermal comfort of citizens by creating cooling areas in cities. The project aims to improve the skills of trainers and students and make innovative additions to existing curricula. It is also planned to develop digital and hybrid teaching scenarios.
The RE-FRESH project is seen as an important step in the field of environmental sustainability and combating climate change. The knowledge and experience gained from the training activity is expected to contribute to the development of similar projects in the future.
