Antalya Bilim University successfully hosted the Entrepreneurs Summit 2025, an event aimed at strengthening students’ entrepreneurial vision and bringing them together with experienced figures from the business world. Held at the Conference Hall of the University’s Main Campus, the summit was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Emine Şen Tunç and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Aktan, Secretary General Çağatay Aslan, Board of Trustees Member Alper Köleoğlu, as well as numerous academic staff and students.
Delivering the opening address, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Emine Şen Tunç emphasized that developing students’ entrepreneurial skills is a core objective of the university and highlighted the importance of such events in enabling students to establish direct connections with the business world.
Moderated by communications consultant Sinan Güneş, the summit was held in two sessions featuring distinguished speakers from various sectors who shared their knowledge and experiences.
First Session
• Yusuf Hacısüleyman, Chairman of the Board of ATSO, introduced ATSO’s support programs for entrepreneurs and underlined the role of youth in the future economy.
• Boğaçhan Göksu, Vice Chairman of ATSO, stressed that failure is a natural and necessary part of the entrepreneurial learning process.
• Serap Kılıç Kocaoğlu, Chair of the TOBB Antalya Women Entrepreneurs Board, addressed the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and the importance of professional solidarity.
• Ayşen Hamamcıoğlu, Founder of Terma Engineering, shared insights from her experience in engineering-based entrepreneurship.
• Dr. İbrahim Uğur Erkiş, Director of KOSGEB Antalya, provided information on financial support programs offering up to TRY 2 million for projects focused on investment, production, export, and employment.
Second Session
• Cüneyt Asan, Founder of Günaydın Meat Restaurants, shared his career journey, emphasizing determination, foreign language skills, and internships as key elements of success.
• Mustafa Ergün, President of Antalyaspor, discussed leadership and team management from a sports management perspective.
• Rıza Perçin, Vice President of Antalyaspor and Chairman of DIG Group, highlighted the importance of a visionary approach through multi-sector entrepreneurial examples.
• Mehmet Soner Akdoğan, Chairman of the Antalya Branch of the Chamber of Civil Engineers, spoke on the strategic value of an engineering mindset in entrepreneurship.
Throughout the event, students actively engaged with the speakers through interactive question-and-answer sessions and received feedback on their own ideas and projects. The summit concluded with the presentation of plaques of appreciation to the speakers in recognition of their valuable contributions.
