The second transnational meeting of the RE.FRESH project, coordinated by Dr. Melike Çetin from the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and supported by Dr. Hamid Farrokh Ghatte from the Department of Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, took place at Antalya Bilim University on October 3-4, 2024. Project partners from GIP FCIP CRETEIL (France), IDEA (Spain), and MA-TERIA and RIO PLANO (Portugal) gathered to evaluate the progress of the project and plan future steps.
During the meeting, potential locations on the Antalya Bilim University campus were visited as part of the "Cool Island" initiative, with discussions focusing on projects aimed at promoting environmental sustainability. In addition, important technical visits were made to sites such as Kurşunlu Waterfall and the Perge Archaeological Site, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Caner Ünal from our Faculty of Tourism, further strengthening the project's links to nature and cultural heritage.
