Strong Interest in the ‘Future Jurists Summit’ at Antalya Bilim University

The “Future Jurists Summit,” organized by the Antalya Bilim University Law and Ombudsmanship Society in cooperation with the Nomos and Society Society, was successfully held with strong student participation. Aiming to broaden the professional horizons of young legal professionals and to connect current legal practices with career dynamics through real-life examples, the summit created a high-quality academic and professional atmosphere on our campus. The event was carried out under the coordination of the Directorate of Sports, Culture, and Arts (SKS).
The summit commenced with opening speeches delivered by the President of the Antalya Bar Association, Attorney Ali Çağdaş Bozaner, and esteemed representatives of the Bar Association. The presentations addressed the ethical dimension of the legal profession, the importance of defense culture, critical milestones that prospective lawyers may encounter throughout their career journeys, and current requirements for professional specialization. Participants had the opportunity to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical insights directly from experienced professionals in the field.
One of the most notable parts of the summit was the interactive question-and-answer session. Students actively engaged with the speakers, receiving experience-based responses regarding career planning, internship processes, areas of specialization, and key considerations when entering the legal profession. This interactive dialogue enhanced the overall effectiveness of the event and contributed to building a strong communication bridge between our students and representatives of the legal community.
The program concluded with the presentation of plaques and flowers to the speakers in appreciation of their valuable contributions. The “Future Jurists Summit” was finalized as a productive gathering that strengthened students’ professional motivation, brought contemporary legal perspectives into the university environment, and inspired their future career paths.
