Thanks to the educational collaboration protocol signed between Antalya Bilim University (ABU) and Rixos Hotels, students enrolled in ABU's Tourism Management, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, and Cookery departments have the opportunity to continue their university education abroad with the Rixos scholarship. The agreement is also planned to include the Engineering faculty. Supported by ABU, students gain work experience at Rixos hotels for four months every summer. By the time they graduate, they become sector-ready managerial candidates, fluent in two foreign languages, knowledgeable in both Turkish and global practices, and equipped with a total of six seasons of experience—two summers in high school and four summers at university.
The 25% graduate discount for ABU graduate programmes offered to Rixos employees is another important pillar of this cooperation. Thanks to the master's and doctorate courses held in the evening hours at the Mark Antalya campus, employees can continue their academic development without interrupting their professional lives.
This strategic cooperation aims to train qualified human resources for the tourism sector and increase its competitiveness. ABU invites all facilities with vocational high schools under their supervision to participate in this successful cooperation to invest in the future of the sector.
