Young people of Antalya Bilim University remembered the elderlies

Antalya Bilim University remembered the elderlies during the Senior Citizens Week, celebrated between the 18^th and the 24^th of March. Residents of nursing homes in Antalya were hosted to a special breakfast at the Döşemealtı Campus. Among those enjoying the morning were the Rector of ABU, Prof. Dr. İsmail Yüksel, the Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamza Kandur, the academic staff and students. Prof. Dr. İsmail Kaplan, who chatted with each guest, stated that, “We hold elderly people in high esteem. We should remember them everyday rather than just once a year. We wanted to give them an enjoyable day. I would like to remind young people here that we owe a lot to them as a nation.” Following the breakfast, our guests enjoyed dancing with some of our students in the lovely fresh air and sunshine.
