Fatma TURNA DEMİR completed her undergraduate studies in 2010, graduate studies in 2012 and doctoral studies in 2018 at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Science, Department of Biology. She served as a Research Assistant in the same department from 2011 to 2018 and was awarded the TUBITAK BİDEB 2228, 2211 scholarship during her graduate studies. She was also supported by the TUBITAK 2214/A Abroad Doctoral Research Fellowship Programme and conducted research at the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for 6 months. Her research interests are Genetics, Genetic Toxicology, Rodent Biology. Nanoparticles and ecotoxicology. She has published 19 papers in SCI/SCI-Exp, 6 papers in National/International Refereed Journals, 23 papers in International Scientific Meetings and 17 papers in National Scientific Meetings. She was awarded TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2219 Scholarship to do Postdoctoral Research at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital.
