Comprehensive Information Sessions Held for Our Students in the POLS 150 Academic Skills Course

Within the scope of the POLS 150 Academic Skills course designed for first-year students of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, a series of important events were held in March to support our students' adaptation to university life and international opportunities.

The series of events began on March 10, 2026, with a visit from ABU Erasmus Coordinator Yağmur Yazgı Kaya, who provided detailed information about the opportunities offered by Erasmus programs. Following this, on March 11, 2026, our 4th-year student Anastasiia Andriadi shared her Erasmus experience in Hungary from the previous spring semester with our first-year students, offering valuable advice from her own journey.

Aiming to integrate our students into campus life, the Director of Health, Culture and Sports (SKS) Gökhan Dinçer, Deputy Director Halil İbrahim Çelimli, and student assistant Zeynep Ünlü visited our class on March 17, 2026. The team informed students about sports activities, student clubs, and cultural events at our university. Building on this visit, on March 18, 2026, four student clubs operating within our university delivered promotional presentations. Zehra Köze, President of the ABU Science Fiction and Fantasy Club (BKFT); Kaan Çetin, President of the Music Club; Zeynep Ünlü, President of the ABU Young TEMA Club; and representatives from the ABU Theater Club shared their communities' visions and activities with our first-year students.
