The fourth session of the Colleagues’ Talks, organized in collaboration with Akdeniz University, the International Relations Council (UIK), and the Antalya Association for Academic Research (ANT-Akademi), was held on the 7th November 2025 at Akdeniz University campus.
Following previous meetings held in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, the meeting in Antalya brought together representatives of the UIK from Dokuz Eylul University, Istanbul Bilgi University, Kadir Has University, and TED University, as well as faculty members from the Departments of Political Science and International Relations of Universities located in the Mediterranean region, including Akdeniz University, Antalya Bilim University, Adana Alparslan Türkeş Science and Technology University, Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Mersin University, and Süleyman Demirel University.
As part of the Colleagues’ Talks, which aim to share challenges in academic life, discuss possible solutions, and explore opportunities for collaboration, there were three panels under the titles of Education and Teaching, Research and Publications, and Projects and Collaborations. From our Department, Dr. B. Toygar Halistoprak and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nermin Aydemir shared their experiences in the Research and Publications panel, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. I. Cerem Cenker Özek contributed to the Projects and Collaborations panel.
The Colleagues’ Talks in Antalya provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges, possible solutions, and opportunities for cooperation in International Relations education, as well as in academic publishing processes and the preparation and implementation of national and international projects.
