Our Research Assistant Mehdi Sosar Featured as a Guest Expert on Al Mayadeen TV

On December 9th 2025, our Department's Research Assistant Mehdi Sosar participated as a Middle East expert on Al Mayadeen, one of the most prominent news channels in Lebanon and the region. During the international broadcast, our Research Assistant shared his in-depth academic assessments of the latest regional developments with the global audience.

Providing comprehensive analyses of regional dynamics throughout the program, Mehdi Sosar elaborated on the prospects of Turkish-Iranian relations and potential avenues for cooperation in Syria. Drawing attention to the current situation in Gaza, our Research Assistant evaluated the positions of Türkiye and Iran regarding the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and offered insights concerning Israel's expansionist and unjust wars in the region.
