The nursing profession is an applied profession consisting of science and art. Nursing is a health discipline that provides care at the stage of protecting and improving the health of the individual, family and society, treatment and rehabilitation in case of illness. Changes in the society with each passing day cause the increase and diversification of health problems and health-related counseling needs. Nursing care needs to change and develop in these increasing and changing needs. The solution to these problems; It can be provided by applying evidence-based nursing care by following rapidly changing scientific knowledge.
Antalya Bilim University Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department was established with the President's Decision, published in the Official Gazette on 06.02.2020 , and started the educational journey that we aim to be full of success in 2020-2021 with its first students. Our educational philosophy; It is based on human value, sensitivity, responsibility, justice, equality and respect. Our training content, which we have created in the light of this philosophy, aims to educate you as a professional member of the profession, as well as to instill human values in you. With our young, dynamic and expert staff, our aim is to train qualified nurses who will represent and develop nursing nationally and internationally and make a difference in care services. We are confident that our graduates will contribute to both our country's nursing and the world's nursing with these values and skills they have gained.
