Financial Accounting

Course Objectives

This course aims to;-Provide you with a basic understanding of the primary financial statements, the accounts within them, and the basic financial ratios useful in interpreting those statements. Our primary focus will be on the balance sheet and the income statement.- Develop an understanding of basic accounting terminology and procedures.- Provide you with a basic understanding of the accounting cycle and the accounting system.- Develop an understanding of how business organizations operate and the events that have a financial impact upon them.-Provide exposure, where appropriate, to international differences in published financial statements.
