Antalya Bilim University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics was established by the Higher Education Council's Law No. 2457, amendment decision numbered 2880, and started undergraduate education in the 2021-2022 academic year. The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics within Antalya Bilim University, Faculty of Health Sciences aims to train dietitians who, within the framework of the 21st-century understanding of health, care about creativity and individual development at international standards, have lifelong learning and ethical behavior, safe and competent practice skills, and are open to communication with cultures in our country and the world. The language of education is Turkish and the duration of education is 4 years, and students are admitted to this undergraduate program according to the numerical (SAY) score type. Dietitians who graduate from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics have employment opportunities in many areas. Some of these areas are inpatient treatment institutions, renal care units, diabetes education centers, enteral-parenteral nutrition teams, special nutrition and diet centers, mass feeding systems (nurseries, schools, food factories, hotel food and beverage services, all institutions that provide mass feeding, etc.), food industry, private or public institutions related to food and nutrition, maternal and child health centers, family health centers, elderly care centers, sports centers, education and research institutions. Graduates of the Nutrition and Dietetics Undergraduate Program are given the title of "Dietitian".
