Department of Civil Engineering on a Technical Visit to Naras Dam

On May 4, 2026, the Department of Civil Engineering at our university organized a technical visit to Naras Dam as part of the Hydraulics course, with contributions from the DSİ 13th Regional Directorate. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Ali Danandeh Mehr shared technical insights into the construction of RCC (Roller-Compacted Concrete) dams, as well as the design and operational details of Naras Dam. Our students had the valuable opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical applications.
