Antalya Bilim University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation was established by the President's Decision, published in the Official Gazette dated 11.11.2019, and accepted its first students in the 2020-2021 academic term.

The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department, operating under the Faculty of Health Sciences at Antalya Bilim University, aims to train physiotherapists who prioritize creativity and personal development, uphold lifelong learning and ethical behavior, possess safe and competent practice skills, and are open to communication with cultures in Turkey and worldwide, all in line with 21st-century healthcare standards and international criteria. The language of instruction is Turkish, and the education period is 4 years. Admission to this undergraduate program is based on the quantitative (SAY) score type. Graduates of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department can work in various settings after graduation, including inpatient treatment centers, medical centers, disability rehabilitation centers, prosthetics-orthotics rehabilitation centers, industrial establishments, schools, amateur and professional sports clubs, national teams, nursing homes, vocational rehabilitation centers, thermal spa centers, home care centers, R&D laboratories, universities, colleges, research institutes, private education, and rehabilitation centers. They can serve as educators, managers, coordinators, or academics at universities. Graduates of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Bachelor’s Program are awarded the title of “Physiotherapist”.
