Descripción del curso de español:
El curso esta diseñado para aquellos estudiantes interesados en aprender español como lengua extranjera.
Los estudiantes desarrollaran sus capacidades escritas, orales y comprensivas. Ellos asistiran al curso de tres horas, dos veces por semana y equivale a 3 créditos.
Las lecciones contienen una introducción a la lengua española, conocimiento de la cultura hispana (Latinoamérica y España).
Abarca gramática escrita y práctica por medio de ejercicios, juegos y actividades en clase. Aprenden vocabulario, ampliando conceptos y palabras que deben conocer por cada nivel.
Todo esto se hace con el fin de desarrollar las destrezas comunicativas del estudiante (interacción oral, escrita, comprensión lectora y comprensión auditiva) tal como lo establece el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las lenguas.
También, pueden obtener el Certificado DELE por cada nivel, dicho examen es realizado por el Instituto Cervantes.

Este nivel se aprende en dos semestres especificamente SPA 201 A1(1) y SPA 202 A1(2).
Este curso está diseñado para principiantes que desean estudiar el español desde el principio. Ofrece una base gramatical clara y completa para adquirir unas nociones básicas del español.

Este nivel se aprende en dos semestres académicos SPA 301 A2(1) y SPA 302 A2(2).
Este curso está diseñado para principiantes que ya poseen conocimientos básicos del español y quieren continuar su aprendizaje. Ofrece una base gramatical clara y completa para ampliar sus conocimientos en este nivel.
Objetivos A2:
B1
Este nivel se aprende en cuatro semestres académicos SPA 401 B1(1) y SPA 402 B1(2).
Este curso está diseñado para aquellos que ya poseen un nivel intermedio del español y quieren continuar su aprendizaje. Profundiza y amplía los conocimientos gramaticales de la lengua española. Con vocabulario y gramatica técnica.

Spanish Course Description:
The course is designed for students interested in learning Spanish as a foreign language.
Students improve their written, oral and comprehension capabilities. They attend a three-hour course twice a week, which is equivalent to 3 credits.
The lessons contain an introduction to the Spanish language and information about Hispanic culture (Latin America and Spain).
It covers written and practical grammar through exercises, games and activities in lessons. Students learn vocabulary, expanding concepts and words, which they must know for each level.
All this is done in order to develop students’ communication skills (oral interaction, writing, reading and listening) as established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
They can also obtain the Certificate DELE for each level. The examination is carried out by the Instituto Cervantes.

This level is learned in two semesters, specifically SPA 201 A1 (1) and SPA 202 A1 (2).
This course is designed for beginners who want to study Spanish from the very beginning. It provides a clear and comprehensive grammatical base, required to acquire a basic understanding of Spanish.
A1 objectives:
The students;
• recognize words and very basic phrases that are commonly used about themselves, their families and their immediate surroundings.
• understand familiar names, words and very simple sentences, such as notices, posters and catalogs.
• can participate in a simple conversation provided that the other person is prepared to repeat what he/she has said or rephrase at a slower speed in order to help the student understand what he/she is trying to say.
• can ask and answer simple questions in areas of immediate need or on very familiar topics.
• use simple phrases and sentences to describe where they live and people they know.
• can write short, simple postcards, such as holiday greetings. They know how to fill in forms with personal data, such as their names, nationalities and addresses on the registration form of a hotel.
A2
This level is learned in two academic semesters SPA 301 A2 (1) and SPA 302 A2 (2).
This course is designed for beginners who already have basic knowledge of Spanish and want to continue their learning. It provides a clear and complete course to expand their knowledge in this grammatical base.

This level is learned in four academic semesters SPA 401 B1 (1) and SPA 402 B1 (2).
This course is designed for those who already have an intermediate level of Spanish and want to continue their learning. It deepens and expands the grammatical knowledge of the Spanish language with technical vocabulary and grammar.
Objectives B1:
The students;
• understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters that take place at work, school or during leisure time etc. They can understand the main points of many radio or TV talks or topics of personal or professional interest as long as the delivery of information is relatively slow and clear.
• understand texts written in everyday language or that are work-related. It includes the description of events, feelings and wishes in personal letters.
• know how to cope with almost all situations that are presented when traveling where the language is spoken. They can spontaneously participate in a conversation that addresses everyday topics of personal interest or that are pertinent to everyday life (family, hobbies, work, travel and current events).
• know how to easily connect phrases in order to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions.
• can write simple and connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest. They can write personal letters describing experiences and impressions.
