Educational Approach

Antalya Bilim University School of Foreign Languages adopts a student-centered and flexible instructional philosophy, implementing an eclectic approach to language education. This model draws on a variety of teaching methods to deliver a learning experience that is tailored to each student’s individual needs, pace, and goals. Our curriculum is enriched with task-based and communicative practices, supported by skills-focused activities, and structured in alignment with Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards. Students are given the opportunity to take an active role in the learning process, monitor their own development, and apply their language skills in real-life contexts.

This approach also aims to foster key 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, digital literacy, collaboration, and independent learning. By offering multimodal content that appeals to different learning styles, integrating technology effectively, and employing performance-based assessment methods, we support both the academic and social growth of our students. While our instructors continuously engage with innovative teaching methods through ongoing professional development, our students embrace a culture of lifelong learning, growing into individuals who are rooted in local values while also equipped with a global perspective.

To support learning and communication processes, the Microsoft Teams application is used effectively, while the University Information System (UBS) serves as the main platform for academic and administrative announcements and student information flow.
